      Frank King, who has resided in this county for more than thirty-five years, passed away at his home at Mountain Brow Thursday afternoon. Deceased was well known throughout the State, and for some years had conducted the summer resort at Mountian Brow, a picturesque spot on the mountain summit between Woodside and the coast, visited by hundreds of pleasure-seekers annually. In 1868 Mr. King was in business in this city and had been a county resident ever since the early 60s. He was a native of Albany, New York, aged sixty-six years. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Walter King of this city and Frank King, an attorney of Reno, Nevada, and three daughters, Mrs. Frank M. Granger, Mrs. Frank S. Berry, and Miss Elizabeth King. The funeral took place Saturday at 2 o'clock from the Congregational Church. Interment in Union cemetery.

                  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the parlors of the James Crowe Co. for James R. Kingston, pioneer La Honda rancher, who passed away at the Community Hospital Friday following a stroke of paralysis. Kingston had been a resident of La Honda for over 40 years and was well known to the early residents of the community. He was a native of England and was 81 years of age. He was unmarried and as far as known left no relatives in California.
                  The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ralph Smith of the Episcopal Church, Palo Alto. Interment was in Union Cemetery, this city.
