Mrs. Emily Williamson, pioneer Redwood City resident, early yesterday passed away at the home of her home, William Williamson, here. The deceased was 83 years of age at the time of her death and had resided in this city for more than 50 years of her life. Death followed a long illness.
Left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Williamson are John and William Williamson and Mrs. Emily Scott. The deceased was also of the late Nellie Painter of this city.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.

He leaves a wife, Amy Poole, and a daughter, Jean. Mr. Williamson was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, and was a Wells Fargo agent in Modesto for 12 years. He was later an examiner for the interstate comuerce commission.

      Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Williamson of Woodside have suffered the loss of their daughter Grace who was 6 years and 4 months of age and was a native of this city. A short time ago she was seized with an illness that baffled the skill of local physicans and was taken to the Children's hospital in San Francisco. No assistance was rendered her there even, where the most experienced physicans are employed. Grace was a bright, pretty child and was greatly beloved by all who knew her.

        Williamson Dies Here
        John Martin Williamson, one of Redwood City's "old-timers", who was born here 68 years ago had lived in this area all his life, died last night at his home 404 Buckeye St., after a week's illness.
        Mr. Williamson operated a Woodside store for many years before returning to Redwood City to enter the repair business. For the last several years he had been a watchman for Frank's tannery.
        We was a member of Redwood Parlor 66, Native Sons of the Golden West.
        He was the husband of Louise Williamson; father of Mrs. May Taylor, Redwood City, Harry Williamson, Woodside, and Chester Williamson, San Rafael; brother of William Williamson, Redwood City, and grandfather of Beverly and John Williamson.
        Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Layng & Tinney Funeral Home. Internment will be held in Union Cemetery.

          Martin Williamson, an old resident of Redwood City, died at his residence Wednesday after a brief illness. Deceased was a familiar figure in Redwood City for many years. He was formerly a sea captain, and for a long period was in charge of a vessel that plied between Redwood City and San Francisco. Mr. Williamson was a native of Denmark, aged 79 years. Several grownup children are left to mourn him. He interment took place in Union Cemetery Friday afternoon.

              Jesse Newton Wilsey, brother of Mrs. Mary A. Cloud, of this city, passed away last Monday after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Wilsey had a stroke of apoplexy four years ago, at which time he partially lost his sight and that of his hearing. Mr. Wilsey was born in New Harmondy, Ind., 72 years and 2 months ago. When a boy of nine, with his father and family, he left the Indiana home and crossed the plains in a wagon drawn by an ox team. Over a year was consumed in the journey, as the father brought over a hundred head of cattle with which to start a dairy. The family first settled in San Francisco, but in 1856 moved to a ranch in San Mateo County, on the top of the mountain by the San Mateo-Hall Moon Bay Road. The boy attended the Laguna School and finished the course there. In 1868 he moved to Mendocino County and settled there, near Covelo, in the Round Valley. Here he lived until three years ago, when came to make his home with his sister.
              He never married and besides Mrs. Cloud, leaves one brother, D.C. Wilsey in Mendocino County.
              The funeral was held from the Congregational Church Wednesday afternoon and the remains were laid at rest beside those of his father, who was interred in 1863.

                Wesley A. Wilsey died October 17, 1863. He was the father of eight children. One of his daughters was Mary Adeline Wilsey who married Joseph J. Cloud and was the mother of Roy W. Cloud.
                The family came to California in 1853 from New Harmony, Indiana in an Ox Team and with them brought one hundred mild cows.
                The family first settled in San Francisco. In 1856, they moved to their ranch in San Mateo County, which was near the town of ‘Crystal Springs’ which eventually became Crystal Springs Dam.
