Richard Bobby Contractor, Dies
Richard Bobby, wellknown colored cement contractor of this city, passed away at his home, 105 Elm street, Tuesday night, following an illness of only a few days. Death was caused by heart trouble. The deceased leaves a wife, Mrs. Winifred Bobby, and four little children. He was a native of Texas and was 54 years of age. A fifth child passed away several months ago. Bobby had been in business in Redwood for about eight years and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Much sympathy is being extended the family in their afficition.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the parlors of Layng & Tinney on Broadway. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
