Casper Brog dies rather suddenly.
Casper Brog, well known building contractor and a resident of Redwood City for the past forty years, passed away at his residence on Edgewood Road, in Wellesley Park, Tuesday morning, following an illness of only a few days. While not in the best of health for sometime, Brog had been able to be about and to attend to his business and his sudden passing came as a great shock to the members of his family and his friends. Death was caused by acute indigestion.
The deceased was a native of Switzerland and was 58 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Brog and the following children, Mrs. Vera Eager, Mrs. Meta Fair, Roy, Alvin, Clarence, Helen and Earl Brog. He was a prominent member of the Order of Druids and Druid Circle of this city. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the undertaking parlors of Layng & Tinney. Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
