EDWIN BEESON SUCCUMS TO PROLONGED ILLNESS
Edwin Beeson, member of a pioneer family of this city, passed away in his home on Buckeye street Thursday morning after a long illness.
The deceased at once conducted the Enterprise Bakery on Broadway. He was born at Healdsburg, but came to Redwood while quite young. Following his graduation from the local grammer school, he learned the butcher business.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Lela Beeson, a school teacher of San Francisco. Mrs. Dornberger, another daughter, passed away in San Jose last year.
The funeral took place Saturday from the Beeson home on Buckeye street.
A large number of friends and relatives followed the remains to Union cemetery, where interment took place.
