Redwood City Boy Passes Away at Bremerton
FUNERAL HELD YESTERDAY FOR GEORGE D. ALLAIN, WHO DIED IN THE NAVY
Funeral services were held in Redwood City for George D Allain, who died at Bremerton last Friday while serving in the navy. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock from his late residence at 319 Bradford street, and internment took place at Union Cemetery.
Allain was 21 years and 11 months old and leaves a widow, Mrs. Hazel Allain. Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Toussaint and Mary Allain, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. G. Alves, Mrs. J Williamson, Mrs. W. Lutje, Mrs. A. West, Mrs. H. Angelico, and Julius, Frank, and Emile Allain.
Before enlisting in the navy Allain was employed as a chauffeur. The members of the bereaved family have the sympathy of the community in their hour of sadness.
