VIERRA YOUTH TAKEN BY DEATH
George R. Vierra, son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Vierra of Woodside road, died yesterday in the Community hospital at Beresford, following an injury to his leg some months ago. The boy was a native of Santa Rosa.
Young Vierra was recently graduated from the Washington school and had planned to enter Sequoia Union High School. A number of brothers and sisters survive.
Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock this afternoon, under the direction of the Layng and Tinney Funeral home. Interment was in Union Cemetery.

Per his brother's account: "Around the time of 1930, George was standing on the highway in Redwood City when a Mission bell fell on him. The result from this fall lead to his death".
