DEATH OF MOUNTAIN JIM
James Bannon, familiarly known as Mountain Jim, was found dead in Albert Eikerenkotter's barn on the Summit Thursday. He had been drinking and went into the barn to sleep. He lay down between two piles of oats and and in some manner the sacks became shuffled and fell on him when he was asleep and smothered him. He was discovered in that position by Maurice Replay. Deceased was a familiar character about Woodside for years. An inquest was held yesterday by Deputy Coroner Fox and a verdict rendered according to the above facts. Mr. Bannon was 52 years of age.
