Joseph Bishop,76, Dies at Emerald Lake
Apparently victim of heart attack, the body of Joseph Bishop, 76, caretaker of the Emerald Lake weekend home W. D. Hadeler of San Francisco, secretary the California Retailers Grocers Association, was found in his room by Hadeler yesterday shortly before noon when he came down to spend the day a the house.
The elderly man apparently had been dead since Wednesday as a calendar in his room had been marked off up to and including February 12.
Mr. Bishop had been employeed by Hadeler for several years, formerly a cook in the navy. He is believed to have relatives in England.
Funeral services are being arranged at the Layng & Tinney parlors.
