69-Year Resident Succumbs Here
Thomas Harvey Waters, one of the oldest residents of the Redwood City area, died at the age of 93 yesterday.
A native of New York, he had been retired for several years after an early career in the lumber business in San Francisco and as a horseman during the last phase of his life.
Mr. Waters had lived in Redwood City and the Woodside area for the past 69 years. He was well know among the old timers in the area.
For the past several years he had made his home at 327 San Carlos Avenue here. He died at home after a lengthy period in declining health.
Survivors include his widow, Elinor S. Waters, a daughter Helen Castle Waters, and a brother, William of Ava, N. Y.
Funeral services will be held at the White Oaks Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Redwood City.
