'Old-Timer'
Williamson Dies Here
John Martin Williamson, one of Redwood City's "old-timers", who was born here 68 years ago had lived in this area all his life, died last night at his home 404 Buckeye St., after a week's illness.
Mr. Williamson operated a Woodside store for many years before returning to Redwood City to enter the repair business. For the last several years he had been a watchman for Frank's tannery.
We was a member of Redwood Parlor 66, Native Sons of the Golden West.
He was the husband of Louise Williamson; father of Mrs. May Taylor, Redwood City, Harry Williamson, Woodside, and Chester Williamson, San Rafael; brother of William Williamson, Redwood City, and grandfather of Beverly and John Williamson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Layng & Tinney Funeral Home. Internment will be held in Union Cemetery.
