Obituary

A telegram Sunday from Jerome, Arizona, brought the sad news that Louis Boring, son of Mrs. Mary E. Boring of Palo Alto, had passed away. Mr. Boring, at the opening of the war, enlisted with the 6th California regiment and remained with it until it's disbandment. He then went to Jerome, Arizona where he held a position of mining engineer in connection with with the large copper mining industry of that place. Mr. Boring was thirty six years of age. The news of his death is a severe shock to his family and a grief to all who all who had learned to know him.
