Thomas Brizzi, 55, North Fair Oaks workman, was killed instantly last night by a hit-run car while walking along the Middlefield road just outside of the city limits
Brizzi was walking towards his home on Fourth avenue, North Fair Oaks, and had just crossed the Southern Pacific Dumbarton tracks when the car, proceeding south, struck him. It then sped away.
Brizzi's body was removed to the Layng & Tinney chapel where an inquest will be held by Dr. J. C. McGovern, probably on Tuesday. Services for Brizzi have not been arranged. He lived here for 15 years, and was a native of Italy.
