Obituary
UNKNOWN MAN MEETS DEATH
Killed on the Railroad near South San Francisco
The body of a young man not over 20 years of age was found Tuesday morning lying near the railroad track at South San Francisco, mutilated from evident contact with the locomotive. Deputy Coroner Cunningham held an inquest on the remains, after which they were shipped to this city. The deceased was dressed in a coat and vest of mixed color and light stripped pants of English cut. In his pocket was found a card showing him to be a member of the Los Angeles Federation of Labor and which was written the name Wallace Bell. Deputy Cunningham telephoned to Los Angeles and learned that the young man of that name joined the federation in June but nothing was known of his antecedents. The body is lying at the morgue awaiting identification.
